Note: Zenhub's full feature set is unlocked when you connect your GitHub Organization to Zenhub

Overview

With the Notion integration in Zenhub, you can seamlessly embed content from your Notion documents into Issues, Zenhub Epics, or Zenhub Comments. This integration enhances your collaboration experience by bringing valuable information directly into your workspace.

Connecting to Notion

To begin integrating your Notion account with Zenhub, follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to your Zenhub account settings and select "Integrations" from the menu.

  2. Under "Connect your Notion account," click on "Connect."

  3. A pop-up window will appear within Notion, requesting access to your organization.

  4. Choose the specific pages and Notion organizations you want to make viewable from Zenhub.

  5. Select the checkboxes beside the pages you wish to share and click "Allow access."

Permissions

Please note that other Zenhub users who wish to access and view the shared Notion documents will also need their own Notion accounts and permission to access the linked articles.

Embedding Your Docs

Once your Notion account is connected, you can easily embed your Notion documents into Zenhub. Follow these steps:

  1. Copy the share link from your desired Notion document.
  2. Paste the link directly into the body of your Issue, Zenhub Epic, or Zenhub Comment.
  3. You will see a preview of the embedded Notion document, providing a quick glimpse of its content.

If other users haven't connected their Zenhub accounts to Notion, they will be prompted to either "dismiss" or "Connect" their Notion accounts. After dismissing this prompt twice, it will no longer appear. However, users can still connect their Notion accounts through the settings menu, as mentioned earlier in this article.

By integrating Notion with Zenhub, you can streamline your workflow, collaborate effectively, and have all the necessary information at your fingertips. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact our support team. Happy collaborating!
