Connecting and Disconnecting Your GitHub Account in Zenhub

Note: Zenhub's full feature set is unlocked when you connect your GitHub Organization to Zenhub

In order to access all of Zenhub's features and seamlessly integrate it with your GitHub workflow, you need to connect your GitHub account to Zenhub. This process will enable Zenhub to access your selected GitHub organizations and reflect your repository permissions accurately within Zenhub.

Important: To connect a GitHub Organization to Zenhub, you must have Admin rights.

Follow these simple steps to get started:

Step 1: Click "Connect your GitHub account"

Begin by clicking the "Connect your GitHub account" button. You can find this button at the top right of your board.

Alternatively, you can connect your Zenhub account by following these steps:

  1. Go to your Zenhub profile settings.
  2. In the "Connected accounts" section, locate and click "Connect your GitHub account."
  3. If you're not already logged into GitHub, you will be prompted to log in.

Step 2: Grant Access to Your GitHub Organization

After logging in, you will see a panel requesting you to grant access to your GitHub Organization. It's important to note: You must click "Grant" before proceeding to click "Authorize".

If you encounter a "Request" button instead of the "Grant" button, you'll need to have a Team Member with GitHub owner/admin rights complete this step on your behalf.

Additional Note: If you are a member of multiple GitHub Organizations, you will need to grant access to each Organization you intend to use with Zenhub.
